Qualified Social Worker (QSW) - children and families services based within the Sussex. This is a temporary contract position looking to start ASAP running into May 2010. Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 3 years direct working experienceknowledge within a children and families setting.

Qualified Social Worker (QSW) - children and families services based within the Sussex. This is a temporary contract position looking to start ASAP running into 2010, this position will be reviewed and possibly extended in May. The successful applicant will be working with individual service users, undertaking assessments in line with the Assessment Framework and other relevant local and national guidance, including that for long term team, care proceeding, court reports, permanency planning and other forms of personal assistance with the aim of enhancing andor protecting individual welfare. Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 2 years direct working experienceknowledge within a children and families setting. Although candidates with less but fully relevant experience will also be considered. Applicants will need to hold a DipSW certification, General Social Care Council registration (GSCC), a current criminal records police check (CRB) issued in 2009 and a valid UK or international driving license.
