Greater Manchester, Hospital Social Worker

Qualified social worker required for a busy hospital environment. Our client is looking for a candidate who holds excellent working knowledge of adults safeguarding services. This position will be ward based, working with different agencies and staff. ASAP start date, CRB issued in 20092010, DipSW and GSCC are essential for the position.

Local authority based in Greater Lancashire is looking for an experienced social worker for an adults hospital services position. (ASAP start date) Our client is looking for a candidate who holds experience within adults safeguarding services and continual care best interest meetings. The position is based on a busy hospital ward, candidates should be able to work within a fast paced environment effectively and efficiently. Candidate Key Skills: Assessment, case managementplanning, Effective communication and diplomacy skills, ability to manage constant and conflicting demands, Ability to assess and manage risk. Education & Qualifications: Professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent). Please note the CSS qualification is only deemed equivalent if appropriate post qualifying training has been undertaken. The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW (or equivalent), must be registered with the GSCC, have a current CRB and hold a valid UK driving license. The post is looking to run for a minimum 4 months contract.
